Little things, things of no ordinary importance, can make a day seem wonderful - or terrible. A smile at the right time, or a frown at the wrong. An encouraging word, a condemning one. A stubbed toe, a petal falling on the sidewalk. Someone ignoring you, someone holding a door. A snicker, an endearment. Loosing a pen, finding a dollar. They all add up to the sum of your day, and the way you remember them has a lot to do with how you see life.
"It is trifles that make the sum of life."
-Charles Dickens
David Copperfield
