For some reason that phrase caught my attention this morning: he was known by the fact that he was awaiting the kingdom of God. Was he zealously waiting? Or was it just commonly known that Joseph from Arimathea was waiting for the kingdom of God?

Oh, Lizzie, you are such a sweet little homemaker! Do you sometimes just have to pinch yourself to see if this is really "real"--that you really are a wife and mother??? God is so good and He has provided such a loving and godly husband for you--and now a precious little one who will giggle when they wear the pretty green sweater!!
